I personally have never connected or fit in with social media. As an introvert at heart, I struggle to play the games required to feel like I’m a part of any of the major platforms, and they are too noisy for me.
At the same time, I have embarked on a purposeful journey to try and improve myself through the practices of mental fitness and I am highly motivated to help others along the way.
I knew I wanted to connect what I’m learning with others, but I wanted to do so with a group who actually cared about changing and improving themselves for the long haul, and helping others along the way as well.
It felt natural to start with a new micro community, however small it may be. And I’m looking for some people to join me that are interested in helping to shape what a community like this can be.
Adversity is inevitable, and adversity has never been higher. How we respond to adversity is our choice, but our ability to choose wisely and mitigate the automatic behaviors that cause us to get in our own way comes down to how mentally fit we are.
It doesn't come down to insight from just reading a good book about being positive or liking gurus on social platforms. It comes from scientifically proven exercise to strengthen the control we have of our own minds even amidst severe challenges like the ones we face today.
I am not a motivational speaker, though I often speak with high energy, passion, and purpose. My goal is to disrupt the BS and lies that are constantly failing people, that there are quick fixes to reaching peak potential by putting band aids on symptoms vs. addressing the root causes of why we do what we do under stress and adversity.
I am most concerned with helping myself and others find true fulfillment amidst the chaos and setbacks of life.
Together, in this safe place, we can create a community of encouragement, accountability, learning, and commitment to the methodology, science, and practice of what it takes to improve our mental fitness by leveraging practical neuroscience based tools.
The brain is a muscle, and we should be training it like we train our physical bodies, but many don’t because they don’t understand the importance of doing so as it applies to their productivity and wellbeing, or, they simply do not know how.
My commitment to you is to pour all of the passion, knowledge, and resources I continue to attempt to build upon into this community. I hope to connect with, support, and inspire anyone who wants to improve their productivity at work, their stress/happiness levels, and their relationships by staying out of their own way and unleashing what they’re truly capable of.
